Merisa is a Naiad, commonly known as a "water nymph." She adores sea-life, including coral, and dedicates her life to exploring the endless sea, particularly coral reefs. She is the daughter of Sirenus, the king of the underwater kingdom "Atlantidea." but she left her kingdom years ago in search of her missing mother, Coralline, who disappeared shortly after her birth. Her father never gave her an answer for her mother's disappearance. As a nymph, she stops physically aging at 26.
