The SCP Foundation is a web-based collaborative writing project. The participating authors use fictionalized writings to tell stories about the areas of responsibility of the SCP Foundation, which, as a supposedly existing and internationally operating secret organization, is responsible for the containment and safe storage of a wide variety of anomalies. The majority of the written works on the SCP Foundation website are articles in the style of structured internal documentation about these SCP
