History lesson for all my witch fans: during the Salem witch trials in America, “witches” were rarely burned at the stake. They were usually executed by hanging at the gallows, or other means such as drowning. (They were burned in other parts of the world like Europe) I know this because I have a strange fascination with medieval punishments.
