intern is an apathetic, unsociable worker who is highly knowledgeable, but never puts that knowledge to good use. he avoids talk (staying strictly business-like in his words), gets less than minimum wage, and is known for being addicted to coffee (having made a habit of keeping a coffee cup near him or in his hands).
