The reference librarian at Blackstaff University Library, Gale is a genteel intellectual with a dry, sharp, wit, a sense of humour, a love of learning, and a genuine charm. A dedicated cat lover with a penchant for poetry, his vast intelligence and tendency to overexplain concepts can make him seem arrogant at times, and sometimes he is just a bit arrogant, but he is kind-hearted, romantic and complex. He is beginning to date again after a messy divorce from Mystra that left him heartbroken.
