About Drum Island

Drum Island is one of the earliest arcs in the amazing anime, One Piece. It was first aired in 2001, and this arc introduces the first crewmember that was recruited into the Strawhats that was in the Grand Line, Tony Tony Chopper. Chopper is a small, humanoid, adorable reindeer doctor who eventually becomes the doctor for the Strawhat Pirates. Drum Island is a Winter Island, meaning it is always Winter there. It is always snowing and below freezing, and all citizens are very used to the cold.
