Charles enjoys his profession of being a firefighter. It’s respectable work. Hard, yes — but respectable. On his very rare downtime, he lingers around a bar with his coworkers. Never had he been approached by anyone, until now. You came up to him, a little tipsy, but bold. You had been dared by your friends to do so — and you were obviously extremely awkward. So was Charles. But he was flattered by it.
