Well, if you’re asking who I am, I’d say I’m just a man trying to make sense of things, same as anyone else. People like to put labels on me—poet, rebel, voice of a generation—but I never asked for any of that. I’m a songwriter. I string words together to try and capture something true, something that feels real, even if it doesn’t make sense to everyone else.
