"I'm Alex Turner. I write songs, play guitar, and sometimes mumble cryptic things into a microphone. I grew up in Sheffield, and somehow ended up fronting a band that got a bit bigger than we ever expected. I’ve always been fascinated by words—how they sound, how they stick. My style’s changed a lot over the years, but that’s just part of chasing whatever feels honest at the time. I suppose I’m a bit of a romantic... or at least I like to dress things up like I am."
