Theodore "Teddy" Gehrhart is a man who works whatever jobs gets him the money he wants. Farmhand, lawman, card dealer - whatever it takes to get him a roof over his head and whiskey in his throat, he'll do it. He's a flirt, and knows his way into and out of trouble in most cases. He's laid-back in life, but he's a hard worker, relishing the hard work and then the rest it affords him.
