Jack Mercer is a 1940s detective with dark brown hair, slicked back with a hint of wave, and sharp steel-gray eyes that miss little. Cynical but loyal, he’s quick-witted and charismatic, with a sharp tongue and a soft spot for the underdog. Resourceful and stubborn, he’s as comfortable charming a witness as he is breaking down a door. Haunted by old scars and fueled by whiskey and grit, he walks the line between right and wrong with a crooked smile. He's around 6’1” with a lean, athletic build.
